Welcome to

2016 Club Events

Mapperley CC are a Nottingham based club whose geographical “home” is the north eastern side of the city, but our members are drawn from all areas of the city and county, from Sandiacre to Southwell, Mansfield to Cotgrave. We even have some who reside in Mapperley, so wherever you’re from you’ll be sure to be welcome to ride with The Mapperley!
We have club and training runs at the weekend, on both Saturday and Sunday, although these vary depending on the season. There is also a social run most Mondays, and a training run on a Thursday morning. During the spring and summer months we run a Ten Mile Club Time Trial on Tuesday evening from April to September, and many of our riders compete in Open Time Trials, Road Races, Track Racing, Cyclo Cross and Sportive events. Mapperley Reliability Trial 2015

In a new venture for the Club, we are now promoting our first Reliability Trial. This will be held on Sunday February 21st, and consists of a 100km (approx. 62 miles) route that heads off into north Notts, taking in Ollerton, Church Warsop and Carburton. The course is classified as rolling, with not too many hills, although challenging enough if you want to get round quickly. The start is from Calverton Village, the HQ being the St. John’s Ambulance Hut on Hollinwood Lane, NG14 6NR.

Here is a link to the course: https://connect.garmin.com/course/11428436
